UNGA 2022

Goals House will have a presence at UNGA in New York between 18th – 22nd September.

With only 8 years to go until the deadline of 2030 and having not met for three years, the 193 Member States of the United Nations will once again gather at the UN.

Under the leadership of Csaba Kőrösi, UNGA 77 President and Director of Environmental Sustainability at the Office of the President of Hungary, member states will update on their progress to achieving the SDGs and discuss, debate, and make recommendations on a broad range of themes including sustained economic growth and sustainable development, international peace and security, human rights and education.

The Goals House programming will complement the UNGA agenda, focussing on what needs to be done to achieve net-zero, education, the future of fashion and tackling modern slavery, sustainable cities, health in the wake of the pandemic and ongoing international crises and the role the private sector has to play in achieving the SDGs.
